Fixed broadband Internet is spreading

World fixed broadband Internet subscribers, per 100 people (World Bank)

It seems that the number of fixed broadband Internet subscribers in the world is rising steadily.

The top five countries in 2013 with reliable data were Monaco, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Denmark and the Netherlands with 44.66, 42.52, 40.67, 40.16 and 40.08 subscribers per 100 people, respectively. According to the World Bank database, Bermuda had 61.37 subscribers per 100 people but their data is somewhat suspicious. The number has been almost constant since 2009 and data is missing from 2011 and 2012.
